Fish fillets (Big pieces)                                               ½ kg
Capsicum (finely cut)                                                 1
Carrot (cut into small pieces)                                    1
Green chilies                                                                4
Ginger (chopped)                                                        1 medium piece
Garlic (chopped)                                                          4 cloves
Egg                                                                                 1
Tomato ketchup                                                           4 tbsp
Refined flour                                                                 4 tbsp
Corn flour (made into paste with water)                  2 tbsp
Worcestershire sauce                                                  2 tbsp
Oyster sauce                                                                 2 tbsp
Dried, round red chilies                                               7
Black paper powder                                                     ¼ tsp
White paper powder                                                    ¼ tsp
Salt                                                                                  to taste
Oil                                                                                    2 tbsp + for frying


1 Cube fish; marinate with black paper, egg, flour and salt; keep aside for ½ hour.
2 Heat oil in a work; fry fish pieces golden and remove.
3 Heat oil in a pot and fry ginger and garlic till golden; add all vegetables and cook for 2 minutes.
4 Add all ingredients excluding corn flour and cook for few minutes.
5 Gradually add corn flour while continuously stirring till sauce thickens; add fish and dish out.
